Course description
This project, a wall cabinet, will give students the opportunity to learn new skills with hand tools. Build a small cabinet from start to finish. Time honored techniques including handcut dovetails, sliding dovetails, frame and panel, drawer box construction and fitting will be explored with an emphasis on traditional hand tool techniques. We will also cover sharpening, hand plane tuning and basic shop care and maintenance. Join in for some real joinery fun!
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a class please let us know right away. If a wait-listed student is ready to take your place we will refund the class minus a 4% cancellation fee to cover our banking costs. Otherwise our cancellation fees are as follows: Classes canceled 5 days or more before start date: Refund minus 10% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 5 days before start date: Refund minus 50% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 2 days before start date: No Refunds Given.
